Privacy.

Phone Bad Life Good is a website that tells you a plan. That’s it. There’s not much to be private about, and we’d like to keep it that way.

Here’s everything that happens with your data when you visit:

We measure visits, not people.

No Google Analytics. No Facebook pixel. No ad pixels. No cookies.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics and Ahrefs Web Analytics to count basic site activity: pageviews, visits, referrers, link clicks, and broad location, language, and browser information. They help us understand whether people are finding and reading the plan. They are not used for ads, retargeting, or building a profile of you.

Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless and doesn’t fingerprint visitors. Ahrefs Web Analytics is also cookie-free by default; Ahrefs says raw IP addresses are discarded rather than stored, and unique visitors are counted with a short-lived daily hash. That means the reports are useful for site health, not for identifying you.

The screener stays on your phone.

If you take the screener, your answers never leave your browser. The score is calculated locally on your device, shown to you, and then forgotten the moment you refresh or close the tab. We never see it. Nobody does. There’s no database. There’s no log.

Email.

If you ask us to email you the printable checklist, we collect your email address through Kit, our email service provider. Kit stores your email address so it can send the PDF and a few follow-up emails about actually using the plan.

The signup is optional. The plan is still on the site, and the checklist download page is available after signup. Every checklist email includes an unsubscribe link. If you email owen@phonebadlifegood.com directly, Owen reads it and may write back.

If this changes.

If we ever change any of this, we’ll update this page and bump the date below. If you care, check back occasionally. If something changes that we think actually matters, we’ll say so plainly at the top.
